 Phoutavanh Sithammavanh joined the EMC Lao PDR team as an Analyst and is based in the Lao PDR office and has played a role in carrying out desk research and conducting quantitative and qualitative field research and analysis for several EMC Laos projects, including a feasibility study with the World Food Programme to examine rice noodle fortification manufacturing under a Purchase for Progress (P4P) initiative, development of a business and investment plan for a private commercial real estate development project in downtown Vientiane, and a rice value chain and milling productivity improvement project that engaged 20 rice millers across 6 provinces and a network of over 20,000 farmers. |
