Eva joined EMC as a Senior Consultant in the Phnom Penh office with primary responsibilities for project management, client delivery and leading consulting analyses for the group. She has led EMC teams on projects involving investment analyses, strategic development, financial modeling and business valuations, serving both private sector development and business consulting projects.

David joins EMC from a background in software and telecommunications. He lived and worked for several years in Russia and CIS, launching businesses for 2 multinational telecommunications equipment companies. This work encompassed regulatory compliance, establishment of customer service operations and sales and marketing to a broad range of domestic and international blue chips and telecom operators.

Nicolas joined EMC as a Consultant, since when he has been actively involved in the development of a strategic plan and financial model for a microfinance business, as well as a full financial model for a client seeking to raise $10M in investment funding in the education sector and a market and business financial model for an integrated rice business. Nicolas has also supported clients of the Export Market Access Fund and actively contributed to EMC's work on foreign investment promotion and understanding investor perspectives.

From a background in Business and Economics, Samphors became an EMC Consultant with responsibilities for analyzing and managing individual project work-streams as well as joining the business development team for EMC Cambodia.

Khemra joined EMC as a Consultant in 2010 and has initially been involved in strategic development for the national swine industry and market research for the office and commercial property leasing market.

As a consultant within EMC’s Lao PDR Office, Ben Hyman is responsible for executing consulting projects for a diverse group of clients, ranging from corporations to multilateral development banks. Ben provides active support to financial modeling and market feasibility studies for clients. He also leads survey teams, performs data analysis and is responsible for general work-stream management. 

Khampao joined EMC in December 2010 as a Senior Analyst based in EMC’s Lao Office.  Since then, she has joined the team analysing rice and coffee sector value chains for a World Bank/IFC project, especially focusing on analysing the costs of exporting financial and market access of the agribusiness sector and development of investment strategies.

Sopheaktra joined EMC Cambodia in mid August 2010 to support EMC’s client engagements as an Analyst—the EMC role that underpins our fact-based advice.

Somphors joined EMC in 2010 as an Analyst, where she is responsible for researching, analyzing and generating ideas to support consulting projects.

Phoutavanh Sithammavanh joined the EMC Lao PDR team as an Analyst and is based in the Lao PDR office and has played a role in carrying out desk research and conducting quantitative and qualitative field research and analysis for several EMC Laos projects, including a feasibility study with the World Food Programme to examine rice noodle fortification manufacturing under a Purchase for Progress (P4P) initiative, development of a business and investment plan for a private commercial real estate development project in downtown Vientiane, and a rice value chain and milling productivity improvement project that engaged 20 rice millers across 6 provinces and a network of over 20,000 farmers.

Dona started at EMC as an Analyst in 2011.  In this role, he takes responsibility for conducting research, developing market intelligence and generating ideas to support EMC’s projects. At EMC, he has gained experience from conducting market research for agricultural and agro-processing products, and developing recommendations to be implemented in a women’s economic empowerment project.
